This landmark headquarters project in the Ataşehir business district of Istanbul demonstrates the transformative potential of sustainable building retrofit and adaptive reuse. Rather than demolish and rebuild, the existing 20th-century concrete-framed office building was carefully reimagined to create a high-performance, contemporary workplace while significantly reducing environmental impact.

The refurbishment retained the building's primary concrete structure, preserving embodied carbon and supporting a circular approach to development. New high-performance façades and energy-efficient glazing enhanced thermal performance, while the interior was stripped back to its structural frame and selectively reconfigured. Strategic removal of floor slabs introduced dramatic double and multi-height spaces, creating visual connectivity, increased natural light, and collaborative work environments aligned with the client's modern working culture.
